ATTENTION, LANDLORDS: GUARANTEED RENT!

Lease your property for guaranteed rent and other benefits with the Emergency Housing Voucher Program. Receive 70% of the rent via check every month (the tenant pays the balance), pre-payment of 1-month's rent or security deposit, funds for repairs and to hold the unit as well as referrals to pre-screen-tenants and on-call support, even after the tenant moves in. HOME REPAIR GRANT: UP TO $20,000

grant for brooklyn veterans!

NHS Brooklyn is offering Brooklyn veterans with mobility challenges due to an accident, injury, serious illness, or age a grant of up to $20,000 to make modifications to their homes to allow them to continue living there independently.

The veteran may own, rent, or live in a home or apartment that needs modification.

Eligible projects include wheelchair ramps, lifts, roll-in showers, doorway widening, and other accessibility modifications.

Total household income limit is 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) for the Metro NYC area.

Mobility challenge does not need to be combat-related.

Landlord or property owner must agree to modifications if the veteran is not on the deed.

Applications processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
