On December 14, 2017, Santander Bank honored NHS Brooklyn with a $15,000 check in support of our homeownership and home preservation programs.

The presentation took place on the same day the bank's ribbon-cutting for the Grand Opening of its new Home Lending Center, located at 1549 Ralph Avenue in Canarsie. That evening, the Center hosted NHS Brooklyn's last First-Time Homebuyer Seminar of 2017.

Santander Bank is an NHS Brooklyn Homeownership Partner. Our Homeownership Partners honor our Homebuyer Certificate, which clients receive upon completing our homeownership counseling and a class. Clients must have the certificate in order to receive a premier mortgage product from our partners and a grant for down-payment or closing costs, if eligible.

The Center will be open 7 days a week for the convenience of residents interested in applying for mortgage loans but who may not have time to do so during normal business hours.
